Job responsibilities
As aLife & Health Insurance Operations Assistant, you will play a key role in managing insurance files, from the receipt of new applications to the follow-up of in-force contracts. You will be an essential point of contact to ensure that operations run smoothly according to our internal processes.
For example, you will have to :
- Receive, check and process documents relating to new insurance applications
- Produce forms for changes to existing insurance policies
- Coordinate exchanges with insurers by submitting and tracking requests
- Preparing DocuSign electronic mailings
- Monitor the department's messaging systems
- Enter and update data in our management database
- Collaborate with the team to ensure rigorous follow-up of files
- Participate in various mandates and propose improvements to optimize internal processes
Key skills for the position
- Sense of responsibility and organization
- Ability to manage priorities and volume
- Ability to communicate and collaborate as part of a team.
- Familiarity with various technologies
Profile required
- Minimum of one (1) year's experience in financial services
- AEC/DEC/DEP in administration, equivalent training or experience
- Fluency in written and spoken French
- Working knowledge of written and spoken English
- Proficiency in Office suite, including Word and Excel
- Be autonomous, reliable, methodical and structured.
- Rigor and attention to detail.
- Be comfortable with routine work while enjoying taking on mandates outside your field of expertise.
